Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store large datasets from various sources.
• Data Architecture: Develop and optimize data architectures that support advanced analytics and data science initiatives.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability.
• ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Data Warehousing: Develop and maintain data warehouses to store and manage large volumes of data efficiently.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, ensuring minimal latency and high throughput.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide reliable data solutions.
• Data Governance: Implement data governance practices to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our data infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Data Pipeline Tools: Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or similar platforms.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in data engineering tasks.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
