Rohan Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our clients’ digital assets by implementing and managing robust security measures. You will work closely with IT and development teams to ensure the security of systems, networks, and data. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Assessment: Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and weaknesses in systems and networks.
• Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans to effectively address security breaches and mitigate damage.
• Security Policies: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Monitoring: Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, investigate incidents, and respond appropriately.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Training: Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity best practices and awareness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, development, and business teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of operations.
• Security Tools: Implement and manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and continuously improve security practices and measures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in security tools and technologies, network security, and risk management. Strong understanding of operating systems, databases, and web applications.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in security assessments and incident response.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
